AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, July 21 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury reacting over the ‘hugging’ and ‘winking’ gestures of Congress President Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament on Friday said, “In Hindi there is a word called Nautanki and Rahul Gandhi also played the same role inside the House on yesterday. Rahul Gandhi might thought that as Modi is a Nautanki and hugely popular by doing Natutanki, so such Nautankis will gain popularity for him too but unfortunately it revealed his immaturity. In concrete, Rahul Gandhi played the same role as PM Modi”. Hitting the Prime Minister’s gestures and speech in the House Jiten Chaudhury said, “Modi’s speech as the Prime Minister was so substandard that he couldn’t even display himself above a BJP leader. His speech was below standard and even his gestures too. What he said is not at all nationally acceptable and as the Prime Minister his gestures was not appropriate too”, Jiten Chaudhury told TIWN.

Talking about opposition’s No confidence motion, Jiten Chaudhury said, even though it was a defeat but morally it was a winning as the whole nation has witnessed the Parliament live, where BJP was exposed.

Regarding mob-lynching Jiten Chaudhury said, “The BJP has just considered the mob-lynching as a type of crime, but it’s dangerous disease of the society”.

Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday in the Parliament said, “PM Modi has taught me what is called Hinduism”.

“Thanks for teaching me Hinduism and according to Hinduism's ideology I am acting now. It doesn’t matter to me how much you hate me but I don’t hate you...... I can be Pappu for you but inside me I don’t have any hatred against you...I'm Congress”, Rahul Gandhi told the Parliament.

"During the break, members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shook hands with me and said I spoke very well. This is because there are voices in the within your party who have the same feeling as I do. I am very respectful to the BJP, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for teaching me the importance of Congress. I am thankful to them for teaching me to be a Hindu. An Indian, however, dominated will never give in to exploitation. I maybe "Pappu" for you but I stand by my values. I am Congress," says Rahul Gandhi while finishing his speech during motion of no confidence in Lok Sabha, following which he went upto to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hugged him.

As soon as Congress President Rahul Gandhi finished his speech, he went upto Prime Minister Narendra Modi, held his hands and shares a smile. The motion of no confidence has turned into a power-packed day in Parliament.

Following the hugging episode Speaker Sumitra Mahajan warned Rahul Gandhi that it’s a ‘house’, but Rahul Gandhi further winked at Modi.

However, netizens are reacting over Rahul Gandhi’s gestures as “Oh boy, Rahul Gandhi can wink and that too better than Priya Varrier, hug better than Munna Bhai”.

Rattled with controversies, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "The point of yesterday’s debate in Parliament.. PM uses Hate, Fear and Anger in the hearts of some of our people to build his narrative. We are going to prove that Love and Compassion in the hearts of all Indians, is the only way to build a nation".
