‘Regularize NHM, You can’t achieve your target unless your Employees get job satisfactions’ : Tripura Health Minister demands NHM’s regularization to Central Govt

AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on the occasion of Northeast Regional review meeting cum Workshop of NHM, HFW held at Pragna Bhawan said, “NHM is much more reliable and working in far better way than regular staffs. We appreciate NHM’s attempt form GBP to all hospitals with their service and also their attempt of infrastructure development. NHM employees are working in better way and trying hard to give quality in their services”. Barman further said, “One of the confusions I would like to mention over here is that once uncertainty looms over your head, if you don’t get the job satisfaction where you do, obviously, I feel the people will be frustrated. If not possible across the states, atleast for special category states, Northeastern states all employees under NHM it is my humble demand on behalf of officials to Govt of India that all employees under NHM be regularized, because you can achieve the target when the people are working get the job satisfaction. NHM people are working indeed much more than the regular staffs of Health Dept”. The Minister further told NHM employees after achieving the target not to behave like regular employees.

Health Minister Sudip Barman further said, “Since the inception of NRHM 2005, we are getting tremendous support from the Ministry of Health and Family welfare led the construction of 449 sub health centres 43, 8 community Health Centres and one subdivisional hospital has done though NHM”.

Barman also praised the NHM for setting up of advanced technologies across subdivisional hospital.

“Four special units have been established in front of District hospitals of Tripura”, he said.

“Around 4300 children that is around 79 % children have been fully immunized in 2017-18, Mission Indradhanush,  Rota, JE-vaccine all have been introduced and many more campaigning are in plan of the Govt”, Barman said.

The Minister also added the introduction of National free Diagnostic initiative under which 2 out of 3 schemes have been launched in Tripura in PPP model along with free services.

“Free diagnostic programme will also be implied along with E-Hospital systems, which has been already functioning in IGM, GBP”, Health Minister said.

“Govt is determined to serve health care to each household under National Health Policy 2017. Govt has also decided to introduce  National Health Protection Mission. I am happy to announce here that 86 % data collection has been completed”, he said.

Barman also announced that AGMC is doing highest numbers of OPD, IPD patients coverage of the state.

At the end Barman ended his speech by requesting Govt of India to regularize the NHMs.
