I have been confirmed about it through a telephonic conversation from the Ministry”. The Principal also added, tomorrow morning the students will reach at Agartala Airport at 9 am to welcome Minister Santana Chakma, to thank her and congratulate her for her successful Delhi visit. Students of the College have expressed their happiness is ‘beyond words’ and celebrations are going on in the Veterinary Hostel. Minister Santana Chakma has two times visited the College and heard about their problems in last four months.

After the successful meeting Santana Chakma said, “Today met with Hon'ble Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh ( Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare ) and Minister of State Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and finally given approval of the affiliation of lone College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, R. The single woman Minister Santana Chakma also has surprised the cabinet with her success who came in media limelight recently marking as ‘non-performer’.

The Veterinary students never broke any rule of the College for the sake of protest. But their struggles and protests were maximum time silent, which recently broke out into strike inside the College since May 28 and it went for three days long.

In TIWN above 30 headlines came hitting both the previous and the present govt in last 1 year.

During the strike the students hanged banners at the gate saying, “We are mouths without Teeth without Registration”, “Without Registration we are Worthless” etc. The students also raised voice saying, “Wake up authority”, “Value our tears”, “You can’t play with our futures”, “Please Give our registration, we want to work for the society”. Tripura State Veterinary College's affiliation was expired and since two years students are passing out without any registration numbers. On that time, when students started tire burning and Day-3 of the strike, from state govt side 15 days were sought.

Since 2009 the College was established but was  left without recognition under VCI and since two years no registration could be managed. Finally, with the struggles of the students the College has been given with “Recognition” marking a successful history of Veterinary students protest.
