AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues to deliver “JUMLA punches” to the utter dismay of lakhs of voters who elected BJP based on vision document promises. Day after CM said in the Assembly that "House to House employment also means MGNREGA man-days", Biplab Deb on Tuesday while addressing on the occasion of “International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” made hits stand clear that BJP Govt will fulfill its Vision Document within next 5 years but it will be fulfilled by the taxes which will be collected from the people. Addressing at the gathering Chief Minister said, “All the promises laid in the Vision Document will be fulfilled. Just wait for few time, whatever has been promised in the Vision Document will be fulfilled and I will not fulfill those promises with my money but the taxes which will be collected from you with that money the Vision Document will be fulfilled”.

Earlier, Chief Minister demanded 1 year and then 3 years and now finally he said, “We got time for 5 years. One after one promises will be fulfilled by the taxes which will be collected from you”.

Recently after the taxes were hiked on fuel and cooking gas, oppositions came in massive reaction. Ex-CPI-M Finance Minister Badal Choudhury said, hike in fuel tax is a plan to hike all commodity prices.

Now with Biplab Deb's claim of "Collecting Huge Taxes" have exposed govt's plan in the name of revenue generation.

It was on Sunday that the Chief Minister had accepted that the whole Finance Dept and other Ministers and intellectuals were against him when he proposed to place a ‘Zero-Deficit’ budget. CM said,  “Zero-deficit budget was unthinkable to economists before BJP Govt was in Tripura. Many people  warned me that I will fall in problem in coming days if I make zero deficit. Both Finance Minister and Finance Secretary said it's hard to make a zero-deficit budget. People also called me mad as Muhammad bin Tughluq after I proposed it but today we have shown how to make a zero deficit budget".

On Tuesday, with a shocking note, on Assembly Day-5, CM said, “In case of House-to-House livelihood, Govt has planned to give 2 crores of manydays for 5,95,195 active card holders in rural area in 2018-19, whereas in urban areas 20,96,774 mandays to be generated for 64,905 cardholders in urban bodies”.

Today while addressing at Rabindra Bhawan premise he said, “Whatever I said in the Assembly will be fulfilled but not from my pocket. It will be fulfilled from the taxes which will be collected you”.
