AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Private school education myths led all rich and middle class people to send their children to study in those but in case of Tripura, quality education even in private schools are matter of dreams, rather these are becoming pressure upon the guardians after a certain time.

One of the burning issues of the Education system in Tripura is the private tuition business leading mass sufferings everyday.

Even though private tuition were abandoned before many years by govt of Tripura and each private school has instructed schools teachers officially not to be involved in home-teaching to own school’s children but instructions are for namesake across the state.

From Holy Cross or Assam Rifles each school including Sri Krishnan Mission, Don Bosco, Kendriya Vidyalayas and in other private schools the private tuition business are hitting the guardians badly.

The guardians indeed bearing triple expenses : 1) School fees, 2) School teachers frees in private tuition in batches, 3) Extra tutor for ‘quality education’.

Instead of dictating the schools to give minimum salary to teachers, Govt since CPI-M to BJP era has been silent against those crimes led guardians to suffer highest.

At the level of Class-6, Class-7 the teachers take 700 rupees from each student. At upper classes the amount crosses thousand.

It has been alleged that school authorities indirectly motivate such practices are teachers in those schools are not paid according to any govt rules and regulations.

Sometimes teachers are paid only Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 at the nursery level led the teachers to involve in private tuition.
