Pre-poll promises knocking CM’s door : Tripura SSA, RMSA teachers demand Regularization

AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Tripura SSA, RMSA teachers have met Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday in demand of regularization and relaxation in marks and qualification. A team representing SSA, RMSA teachers placed two sets of demands before the Chief Minister to draw his attending in their long pending demand. In a letter, SSA teachers led by Secretary of ‘Tripura SSA Teachers Welfare Association’ met CM at his residence with 7 demands. Their demands are : 1) Regularization of all teaching, non-teaching staffs, 2)Demand of granting all financial benefits to all employees working under SSA, 3) Demand of abolishing the process of continuous of tenure of service and removal of discrepancy in payment of salary of non-teaching staffs of SSA, 4) Demand of solution of the discrepancy observed in the secondary level examinations held under NIOS, 5)Demand of making provisions for the Die-In-Harness scheme under SSA, 6) Demand of making provisions for availing loans under SSA, 7) Demand of introduce of child-care-leave in SSA.The RMSA staffs who are working since 2011 have placed their own demands in a separate demand-draft, with three points including the demand of relaxation of qualification.

Their demands are : 1) Regularization, 2) As not all the teachers have B.Ed degrees and needful marks in graduation, so the teachers have requested the Chief Minister to consider the issue by managing relaxations by talking with the HRD Minister, 3) Equal salaries like state govt employees.

Noteworthy, the SSA, RMSA teachers and staffs also indirectly played vital role to unseat CPI-M Govt as BJP before the election promised all contractual employees to be regularized once BJP in power.
