AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Rather than generating a single employment after 104 days in Governance, Tughlaki styled Biplab Deb’s policies already started infuriating serving & retd Govt employers Statewide. BJP led state govt’s announcement about proposed New Pension Policy from July, 2018 has led a huge confusion among the govt employees as Central Govt had started new pension policy from 2004. On Tuesday Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma has announced that state govt likely to implement a new pension policy for them who will be recruited from the next month i.e. July-2018. Following the statement arguments has been started as Ex-Finance Minister Badal Choudhury said, how can a state govt introduce a new pension policy as per its own wish ? In case of if they want to implement pension policy of the central govt then they have been include all from 2004. So does the govt planning to not to give pension to anybody who joined after 2004 ?

On the other side, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma on Tuesday on the first day of State Assembly said, State Govt is committed to allocate 7th pay commission to its employees.

“Around1000 crore has been kept n the budget so that the government could offer 7th pay commission to the govt employees and pensioners once PP Verma committee submitted its report.", he said.

However, Jishnu Debbarma also announced a new pension policy will be introduced who will join in jobs from next month i.e. July, 2018.

Jishnu Debbarma also raised the low revenue generation of the state and mentioned central govt can’t be blamed for it. In upcoming years, there will be attempts to increase the revenue.

All are bogus claims have done by the Finance Minister. If they want to implement central govt’s new pension scheme then they have to include all employees from 2004. Without following protocol it will be simply a law-violation and if they add all from 2004 the employees will get a shock of financial losses", Choudhury further said hitting the BJP Govt.

BJP’s wrong political steps will hit back party with damaging results in 2019 Lok Sabha Election.
