AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar on Sunday raised question whether BJP has forgotten its pre-poll promise that 50,000 jobs will be given in Govt Depts in next 1 year ? Addressing a press meet at Melarmath party office, Bijan Dhar alleged, “All jobs of CPI-M era have been cancelled by BJP Govt without any reasonâ€.
“The new job interviews will be written from Class-4 jobs to A-Grade jobs. In this way how many jobs the Govt will be able to generate per year ?”, said Dhar.
“If Govt wants also, it can not provide enough jobs in this slow way”, claimed Bijan Dhar.
“Earlier before the Election, BJP promised that within 1 year 50,000 jobs which are vacant in Govt Depts will be filled up, but not a single job was provided till day. It’s true that one year is not completed but within 365 days, 100 days are gone”, Dhar told media.
“Tobacco company was closed with Govt’s full knowledge and with Govt’s order the company was closed and hanged with locked”, he said.
“Till day not a single job was created by the BJP Govt but tobacco company’s jobs were suspended forever. State Govt employees under JICA project were also terminated. But CPI-M was alerting Tripura people about this deadly future under BJP ruling since the pre-election, but many people said, due to political mission we are saying this but now an unspoken resentment has been brewed against BJP and we welcome that sentiment", he said.
Issuing Biplab Deb led BJP Govt’s Job-fair blunder by dealing with South Indian companies with 462 youths escaping from the companies, Bijan Dhar said, “Before doing such a mistaken and sending youths under state govt’s liability can’t be pardoned. In our time also such companies came, but the state govt didn’t take any responsibility, because those companies are neither govt nor govt-undertaken. Those are totally private companies and so can’t be trusted”.
“After going at South Indian companies, they managed to escape from those places. When they tried to return they were asked with 10000 rupees to pay. After returning, the youths told Tripura media everything”, Bijan Dhar said.
“Whatever were promised to the youths, they got just opposite treatment at there. The companies didn’t come at own wish but govt called them to state to conduct job fair”, Dhar told media.
