AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Aiming to get 'justice', the 1993's job-deprived political victims to knock the door of BJP Govt demanding justice for them. The teachers who met today at Matangini Prititala Hall have expressed the hidden-pains inside them due to the cancellation of their job-offers after CPI-M came in power. Thus even though they are overaged, but the issue they have raised before the BJP Govt today. A source said they want their family members jobs who were politically victimized by CPI-M. The agitators said, "We are simply political victims and 80 % of us have this time supported the BJP as a part of our anti-communist drive. We don't know what govt will do for us. It's fully up to the BJP Govt how they will heel our injuries".Today a huge numbers of middle aged, senior citizens today have met at Matangini Pritilata Hall, disclosing a historical deprivation done by the CPI-M Govt under Dasarath Deb in 1993.Before one year of 1993’s election, unemployed youths received their offer letters in 1992 under the Congress Govt, but after assuming the power, the CPI-M Govt immediately cancelled the offer letters without showing any cause behind the cancellation.
After cancelling offer letters, in those posts CPI-M Govt allegedly appointed comrades directly.
Even though the deprived people had filed cases on that time, but due to their poor economic condition, the cases couldn't continue. Apart from that on that time the system was not so transparent as now under the High Court and Supreme Court.
Talking to TIWN, the deprived citizens mentioned, "We have been deprived since 25 years. Now we got a new government and our hopes are high that the BJP Govt will do a justice to us".
