AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): CPI-M’s 25 year’s misrule destroyed Tripura economy to such extent that, other than begging from Central Govt to pay salaries, no other sources of revenue generation exists in Tripura. Biplab Deb led BJP Govt finding it Herculean task to gather another extra Rs 3000 crore every year to supplement extra expenditures including Govt salaries as per 7th Pay Commission. Even though Biplab Deb’s tall promises being made every week but reality is State Govt doesn’t have adequate funds to implement 7th Pay commission in current financial year. On yesterday while addressing on the occasion of President’s arrival Biplab Deb announces what the Govt has done in 100 days. In this condition after CM said, ‘7th Pay Commission soon’, public are reacting shaprly asking, ‘Soon means when ??’

It was expected that in the 1st cabinet meeting, BJP Govt will announce 7th Pay Commission and implement it immediately nobody before the Election could imagine state govt will keep them with “hopes” after 3 months of the govt formation, when state and central govt both are same.

Noteworthy, for implementation of 7th Pay Commission CM held review meetings with Retied CS of Assam P P Verma and other members of the committee earlier announced.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has on Thursday has mentioned, 7th Pay Commission will be implemented soon for the Govt employees of Tripura.

CM said, “Tripura BJP Govt after taken charge before  few months, has taken many important decisions for the state’s welfare and among those decisions, 7th Pay Commission is the one”.

“7th Pay Commission, New Recruitment Policy, 10 % reservation for women, Anti-Drug moves, action against illegal contractions, Tourism development etc are the examples what BJP Govt has done in last few months”, CM added.

“We are ready to serve a good-governance to the people of Tripura under Prime Minister’s Sab-Ka-Sath, Sab-Ka-Bikas policy”, he said.

But now after 3 months of the passage, as 7th pay commission is on hold, govt employees are fueling with concerns when the 7th pay commission will be implemented ?
