AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy on Saturday expressed resentments as Twitter yet to mark his account with a Blue-Tick, which a person gets after numbers of followers.

Tripura Governor had appealed few months back for the blue tick, but Twitter has not yet approved it.

Governor also wanted to know who handles the twitter to decide such things, smelling its’ a Anti-Hindu action led by Tweeter.

Resented Governor tweeted, “What irks me is,rabid, visceral Hindi-haters and Hindu-haters with a Hindu name and less than 10K followers get a tick. Who decides these things-will twitter please let us have their names? Because I’m smelling something”.His tweet turned viral as followers were commenting both by supporting and bluffing his point.Whereas one follower wrote, “Sir, don't bother about these things, we love your way of expressing opinions and thats enough”, another person mocked saying, “Deserves a Red tick !!”

“It’s a part of a big conspiracy, only qualification one needs is to be part of vocal Anti Modi gang”, said another follower.

“Why worried about a tick, people like me r getting shadow blocked. I have repeatedly given proof of the same to tweeter n others who I followed. Not a single soul seems to be bothered, hence, @tweeter keep on strategically kill the voices of people who support Modi n oppose INC”, one of the followers wrote.

Later, Roy tweeted, “Thanks to all those who said the blue tick doesn't matter-indeed it doesn't. But the injustice is irksome”.

Twitter is an online news and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as "tweets".
