The students of Veterinary College started the strike on May 28 demanding registrations. The students locked gate saying, “We are mouths without Teeth without Registration”.

According to the students, Tripura State Veterinary College's affiliation was expired and since two years students are passing out without any registration numbers.

On May 29, the students left almost abandoned by the authority but later with media pressure and also observing the downing health condition of students, finally the authority have promised to solve their problems.

Also Minister Santana Chakma said in New Delhi she will discuss the matter and already Central Govt has been told about the problems of the students.
