AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Thursday announced five lakh solatium to the family of Varapuzha police custodial death victim Sreejith on behalf of Tripura Govt.

CM also participated in a road-show at there, campaigned for BJP.

While announcing the compensation, CM said, “Although it is a “small state”, the people of Tripura have a "Big" heart.

CM had announced that the solatium will be handed over to Sreejith’s family through BJP leaders in Kerala.

After visiting Sreejith’s family, Bilpab Deb also took a dig at Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijiayan for failing to visit Sreejith’s family.
