GUWAHATI / AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Whereas before the Assembly Election, Tripura separatist party IPFT leaders claimed that Central BJP had nodded for 'Tipraland' but at NEDA's 3rd conclave at Guwahati on Saturday, in the presence of IPFT Chief N C Debbarma, BJP National President Amit Shah has asked NEDA leaders to make Northeast free from narrowness and push the whole region towards development. Citing example, Amit Shah said, "Earlier people were fighting inside a state with areas, but today Assam CM and Bodoland chief both together have asked me to help in resolving the land-issues with Nagaland which itself is a huge achievement". "Northeast culture is the richest culture of India. It's full of variety with various unique identities and BJP believes that via NEDA only Northeast will be freed from all kinds of narrowness from which Northeast is now suffering". “The day, whole India will think about Northeast and Northeast will think itself an integrated part of India, it will be the day considered for NEDA’s success”, Shah added.“When in a small place people are living with diversities, any separatist mind can influence multiple people and that's how ‘Algawad' increases the sensations but under PM Modi’s Sab-Ka-Sath, Sab-Ka-Bikas 'mantra' the whole Northeast should be freed from Algawad led by NEDA”, Shah said.

“The day when Northeast people will think how to develop the whole country, instead of a single state on that day NEDA will be considered as successful mission”, Amit Shah told NEDA.

Shah's quotes are significant for Tripura politics when everyday IPFT led disturbances are halting developmental works in the state. IPFT's strange demand of making ADC free from all parties except IPFT has hit the peace of the land. 

However, today in front of IPFT President NC Debbarma, BJP National President asked NEDA to free Northeast from 'Algawad' (separatism) and NC Debbarma himself NEDA member now. 

The North-East Democratic Alliance or NEDA is a political coalition that was formed on May 24, 2016 by BJP along with regional political parties for Northeast Development. Tripura’s IPFT is also a part of NEDA now.
