AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s soft stance against partner IPFT causing further unrest as IPFT continuing their hooligan acts against BJP. Just one day after separatist party IPFT President NC Debbarma assured that things are under control and IPFT will pressure the govt to form a new policy via 'appeals', regarding power distribution, the unruly IPFT activists once again have come in action at Killa block to halt office works for the whole day, demanding the resignation of BJP MLA Ramapada Jamatia as BAC chairman immediately. The BDO of the Killa block Sanjit Debbarma has been geroaed by the IPFT and locked from outside. Even though huge numbers of police, TSR have been deployed but nobody was arrested. The block office have been totally paralyzed due to the gherao. Resentments have brewed among the BJP supporters of party's tribal wing following the insults of the BJP leaders.

On yesterday via press conference, IPFT President NC Debbarma demanded a common policy in Power-distribution and when asked by the media what will they do if BJP govt doesn’t agree with any such policy, NC Debbarma said, “The whole process will go through requests and appeals in a systematic manner”, but not even 12 hours could not pass that the unruly IPFTs have created a chaos in the block office.

On yesterday NC Debbarma also claimed, IPFT’s protest didn’t halt any developmental works in ADC. But today also the block office has been paralyzed due to the gherao with illogical demand of replacing all BJP MLAs with IPFT MLAs. Thus, the office works have been "off" for another day.

Everyday here and there, in similar manner IPFT’s disturbances are stopping govt works, but the BJP led state Govt is too shy to take any action against IPFT.
