AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Heavy competitions are going on among separate land demandants of Tripura and their chief enemy is now NC Debbarma led IPFT party, which is presently in power in alliance with BJP. Tripura right now has 3 separate state claimant parties : 1) IPFT, 2) IPFT-Tipraha, 3) TSP and the No-1 is in power in-alliance with BJP. Before two weeks, IPFT-Tipraha which helped the IPFT to win the election, slammed the IPFT chief NC Debbarma claiming ‘NC Debbarma in alliance with BJP under the cabinet have betrayed the demand of Tripura’s tribal people. They claimed that tribals demand separate land at any cost, not undivided Tripura. Today the another party TSP calling a press conference said, “In the name of Delhi-Abhiyaan and secret meetings with Modi, NC Debbarma’s party is actually far from Tipraland issue”.

“Before the election, IPFT said in total 56 seats they will fight in the election and that’s why they were given with a symbol on that time, but breaking their promises, they compromised with BJP in the election”, TSP President Chittaranjan Debbarma said.

“It was said that without Tipraland, IPFT will not align with BJP but they aligned and own the election. Now, the way IPFT leaders are behaving, it’s clear that IPFT doesn’t want Tipraland anymore. They want just the socio-economic-development only”, Debbarma said.

“But our demand has remained cleared from the beginning that we need a separate land Tipraland. In coming days we are going to launch various protests and also planning to go at Delhi”, he said.

“In front of NC Debbarma , Chief Minister Biplab Deb said people will forget Tipraland after they will be provided with all facilities”, he added.

With all these allegations against NC Debbarma led IPFT, the IPFT-Tipraha and TSP are putting pressure upon the IPFT-main to gain public sympathy by claiming that they are actual demandant of the Tipraland.

Hence, the tribal regional parties in Tripura which are suffering from lack of unity are presently in fight with each-other but their demands are same, which is, a separate state.
