TIWN April 21, 2018
AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): 5 years of loot ! Distribute jobs to own people ! BJP is moving towards exactly to the same corrupt direction for which people rejected CPI-M in 2018 election. When Chief Minister Biplab Deb is boosting via National media that his aim is to provide "Quality Education", finally taking the opportunity of the BJP-led Central Govt, Biplab Deb has demanded to change the NCTE's rules even to appoint teachers without B.Ed qualifications. Meeting Nripendra Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi Biplab Deb on behalf of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has demanded a relaxation of qualification till 2020's appointments as 12,222 posts are left vacant. This demand is exactly just the opposite of what people expected from the BJP before the election. Biplab Deb in his Delhi visit, instead of talking about 10323, SSA teachers' regularization has demanded to give a relaxation for teaching job aspirants till 2020.
This demands is totally unconstitutional and insult to the NCTE's guidelines. It also proves, how corruption can take place much easily when at Central and State Govts both are from same party.
Now naturally BJP's supporters will raises question, what about teachers' crisis ?
Answer is in 2 ways : 1) One is to minimize the numbers of schools 2) Also BJP Govt can make it possible to appoint other states' B.Ed qualified or TET qualified teachers, (if necessary by changing law as quality education comes from Qualification).
