AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb's reply to nursing students have shocked 50 victim students as they expected a humane consideration of their life after Manik Sarkar's 20 years misrule as CM. New CM may have thousands of dream for his motherland Tripura, but his too much fantasy behind lack of common sense have been exposed, when the nursing students broke down in tears while agitating at Tripura University. The students parents had taken lakhs of loans from banks to complete the students nursing degree, students were trained in various hospitals, they served the patients and after that even after High Court's order when University was not publishing results, the Chief Minister told the students, "I have sympathy, but 3 years of wasting are nothing".
The helpless students broke down in tears while addressing media and said, "We know what 3 years means. We are finished. What is our fault ? Why nobody has sympathy for us ?"
Tripura University Ex-VC Dr Arunodoy Saha reached the spot after the students sat in protest. Saha told media that University is bound to publish the result as it's High Court's order.
The nursing students today have shown hour-long demonstration at Tripura University demanding registration number and results.
Recently, the resented students of 'Tripurasundari College of Nursing' had locked the College gate and sat in protest. In the last year also due to delay in registration number, the students were not allowed to sit in examination by Tripura University but later with state govt's interference, the students were able to sit in the exam, but now this year the students are not able to get their result and marksheets.
Thus after two years, uncertainty have gripped the students leading mass tension led the students sit in protest.
