AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): CPI-M era’s 22 Assistant professors' recruitment in 2014 will once again come in discussion as in a case recently filed in the High Court against ongoing TPSC's recruitment processes, categorically this Asst Professor recruitment has given as a reference. In 2014 massive controversies sparked following the Asst Professor's recruitment and now once again the issue to be highlighted in the High Court which may turn the fate of the Asst professors just like 10323, if found irregularities. It was just a direct recruitment without following basic guidelines. On that time straight allegations raised against the authority for recruiting professors at the exchange of heavy cashes with the selection board. Not only this, question also raised regarding the validness of the board members' qualifications, who had taken the interview. But no action under the CPI-M Govt was taken and the present Govt is has also been cold to give any response to it.

Recently, an RTI has revealed that in the 2014’s Professor recruitment in Agriculture College at Lembucherra, no proper guideline was followed neither transparency was maintained. Moreover there was no mention about class room interaction, which High Court had guidelined.

In last Asst Professor appointments in the Lembucharra College of Agriculture, RTI has revealed that the candidates who scored lowest in written went high in viva.

TIWN already published a news that a petition also will be filed against the recruitment of Asst Professors and high chances are there that those professors lives will be similar like 10323 teachers as no guideline under "The Indian Council of Agricultural Research"  was followed in the recruitment.

Yesterday justices of High Court of Tripura talked tough against the corrupt officials. One senior judge also warned that High Court should keep public's faith upon it alive so that they don't have to depend upon the Supreme Court.

The deprived youths of Agriculture Dept also met the new Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy alleging about the ongoing corruption. Recently various contractual jobs under Centre's scheme were provided in Agriculture Dept. to such candidates who have zero experience in Agricultural Dept. Many were from Arts and few others' parents are working in Agriculture Dept.

Listening the plea of the deprived youths, Tripura Govt has recently via a Notification with No. NOF.20 (1) GA/ PNT / 2018 told the TPSC to stop all recruitment for now. However, Govt didn't interfere in those recruitment which are  under High Court or Supreme Court's observation.
