AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Allegation raised by common job aspirants of Agriculture Dept. that even though TPSC is claimed as an autonomous body, but either in case of interviews and written tests, TPSC in reality is never independent. TPSC which has been dominated by the Leftists since decades, lost its face in High Court many times. One of the most corrupted depts of Tripura Govt especially in case of recruitment i.e. Agriculture Dept was dominated by one Professor named Asish Saha, who is Tripura origin, but a professor in Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya at West Bengal. In all the viva tests, Asish Saha is a common face, alleged as tainted official by Agricultural graduates.
In last Asst Professor appointments in the Lembucharra College of Agriculture, RTI has revealed that the candidates who scored lowest in written went high in viva.
A petition also will be filed against the recruitment of Asst Professors and high chances are there that those professors lives will be similar like 10323 teachers as no guideline under "The Indian Council of Agricultural Research" was followed in the recruitment.
"Since 25 years Asish Saha is controlling the viva tests. He was basically Leftist in nature. Not only Asish Saha, but there are many similar beneficiaries under the Tripura govt. Officials are there who since the first day of his job is working in Krishi Bhawan of Tripura and till day he is appointed at there without any transfer", said one graduate of Agriculture Dept who is going to file a case in the High Court shortly.
The deprived youths of Agriculture Dept also met the new Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy alleging about the ongoing corruption. Recently various contractual jobs under Centre's scheme were provided in Agriculture Dept. to such candidates who have zero experience in Agricultural Dept. Many were from Arts and few others' parents are working in Agriculture Dept.
Listening the plea of the deprived youths, Tripura Govt has recently via a Notification with No. NoF.20 (1) -GA(P&T)2018 told the TPSC to stop all recruitment for now. However, Govt didn't interfere in those recruitment which are under High Court or Supreme Court's observation.
