AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): During the Election season TPSC took many interviews under the Agricultural Depts, which provided jobs to non-experienced candidates from Sanskrit and History Depts too. However, keeping all those issues in one side, for a particular job interview which was pending due to High Court's intervention since 2017 with Adv No. wpc1393-2017, a section of job aspirants have met the Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy disclosing the ongoing 'mess' in the name of interviews, which asked for 50 posts in Agriculture Depts. Meeting the job-aspirants, Pranajit Singha Roy asked them to come after 4 to 5 days and submit the matter as right now the Govt is busy with the formal works following immediate Govt formation.

The re-examination has been demanded with more numbers of posts as there are 249 vacancies.

"We don't trust TPSC further anymore. TPSC's role is under scanner already and if not, what was the urgency for conducting various interviews in the election season since month of January ?", an Agriculture Dept's passed out student said.

Allegedly, the TPSC is violating not only model code of conduct by taking exams in election time and also violating High Court's order by appointing candidates before High Court's final verdict.

In 2016, for 50 posts filling up under the TPSC an advertisement was published by TPSC but there was a violation of the reservation quota. In that situation a case was filed against the TPSC in the High Court with the case number wpc1393-2017. The final verdict was given on February 20 but already the exam was taken on that time.

Not only this, the candidates list was expanding since the February month, which has been termed as 'Technically handled Corruption" by the deprived youths.

Whereas the advertisement was given on February 6, in a verdict Tripura High Court said ordered to modify the recruitment process on February 20, but without modifying, on March 10 the exam was held and totally illegally in a same exam-hall all same set of Set-(A) question papers were distributed.

"We are also scared whether the question papers were leaked. When since years the interviews remained pending even after High Court's order, why suddenly after the Govt changed, the interview was taken ?", he said.

The deprived has demanded re-exam for those particular post by increasing more numbers of posts. New Education Minister of BJP Pranajit Singha Roy will meet the youths soon.

"The Agriculture Dept officials threatened us from official land number in the last year, which became viral. In this condition why should we trust TPSC or the Agriculture Dept for so called "Cleanliness"??", said Prabir Datta, a job aspirant graduate from Agriculture Dept.
