Traffic Police back on traffic posts as traffic signals are not working since 4 days

AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Traffic Police are seen agian working on the traffic post as the newly launched traffic lights left non-functional.

The traffic lights particularly at Ganaraj Chowmuhani are not working since at least four days.

The traffic lights' introduction however eased the traffic movement across Agartala.

 The jam also are faced less than earlier, after traffic lights were introduced. Demands have raised for the faster repairing of the traffic lights.

The traffic lights were introduced by the Left Govt just ahead of the election. Prime Minister Narendra Modi during election rallies mocked at the state govt for introducing traffic signals so lately.

 “I heard recently Tripura also after 25 years of communist regime got traffic signals which is also terming as a great achievement”, Modi said with a laughter.

However, once again the traffic lights have started disturbing, leading mass sufferings.
