New Delhi, Sep 20 (TIWN) Football star Cristiano Ronaldo in his recent interview with Piers Morgan revealed about his humble background and how he and his friends begged for free burgers from McDonald's when they were 11.

It was the most-revealing one of the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend’s illustrious career by far as he discussed all aspects of his journey from a humble childhood in Madeira to a £86.5m-a-year footballing god. 

One of the revelations he made was that he used to beg for burgers as a kid at Sporting Lisbon.  And now he is hoping to track down those who helped him during his time of need.  In a dramatic twist after the show aired, Morgan hinted that the pair may soon be reunited.  He tweeted on Wednesday afternoon: "UPDATE: We may have found Edna..."  In the interview, Ronaldo had said: “We were a little hungry. We have a McDonald's next to the stadium, we knocked on the door and asked if they had any burgers.  “There was always Edna and two other girls. I never found them again.”  Ronaldo says the McDonald's restaurant is now closed.
