TIWN

Mumbai, June 16 (TIWN) Sharad Kelkar attained the status of a TV star when he became a household name with the show "Saat Phere". The actor, who has made a mark in films as well as OTT space since then, was recently seen in the web series "The Family Man 2". He says he feels more comfortable identifying with the term 'actor' than 'star'.
While there are many actors now who have smoothly transitioned from TV to films, few have managed to get interesting lead roles like Sushant Singh Rajput. Ask Sharad about it and he said, "I feel I was a bit lucky and persistent in my approach towards getting interesting projects. I had resolved that after doing interesting work, I never wanted to go back to doing basic roles. I had set my goals and I was firm that I wanted to play different characters and in the process grow. And I feel that paid off. Though I did not get lead roles, I got to play many interesting supporting roles in films, which got me accolades and appreciation."
