AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): At the executive meeting of BJP held at State level in the presence of State and Central leaders, Tripura BJP In-Charge cum National Secretary Sunil Deodhar has mentioned that BJP alone can win the Election.
On Wednesday BJP has started State Executive meeting at Khowai in the presence of National Secretary, Tripura Incharge Sunil Deodhar. All top leaders of State BJP were present in that meeting, whereas Ajay Jamwal, Organizing Secretary of North East, Phanindra Nath Sarma, Organizing Secretary of Assam attended the meeting and shared dais.
Discussions had taken place regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha Election and parties agenda for Lok Sabha Election votebank mission.
However, Deodhar didn't mention about IPFT and alliance with it directly but BJP will fight alone, such a signal has been given by Deodhar. On the other side, IPFT said if BJP doesn't give a single MP seat to IPFT then IPFT will break the alliance before Lok Sabha election.
Tripura has two MP seats and BJP decided to "bloom" tow lotuses. In this situation, IPFT's demand is being sidelined. Now it's to be seen how far IPFT, BJP can continue the alliance amid ideological differences and power tussles.
This meeting is crucial ahead of Lok Sabha Election when State Govt's performance reports are totally disappointing after 6 months of Govt formation. As Lok Sabha Election is coming closer, BJP has already activated its all wings gearing up the party for election.
In last 6 months BJP and IPFT met in many clashes and in the upcoming Panchayat Election also BJP is fighting alone without IPFT. BJP activists in their poll-rigging also have attacked IPFT leaders, candidates violently during nomination submission for Panchayat Poll on Sep 11.
